All Things Owl (Cadence's Party)

Well my love for Owls hasn't stopped :) Just like Halloween I am not sure how much longer I'll have a say in her party theme.

I saw on Pinterest an in expensive way to have balloons at a party is hanging them from the ceiling, LOVED this idea, so I tried it! Check it out and see what you think.

I sent a link of the party plates/napkins to Sugarlips Cakery and the cupcakes we received were SPOT ON! I am so pleased with them.

Cadence had a great time at her party spoiled with gifts and love. She had fun with Brady, Aubrey and Berkley.

Happy 4th Birthday!

It's hard to believe we now have a 4 year old and wondering where the last 4 years went? I remember to all to clearly the day my water broke at work and the anticipation of giving birth to my first child. The afternoon went by quickly and just before 6:30 she was born.

She has now been a big sister for almost 3 years and a good one at that! She loves showing Berkley the ropes, arguing with her and sharing with her. Cadence's new favorite play activity is school, ever since she started her new day care this past August. She hops on the coffee table crosses her legs and holds the books up reading each page. She loves telling Berkley while they play school "criss cross apple sauce" or "hands on your head bubble in your mouth."

Cadence LOVES spelling out works where ever she can find them, cereal boxes, clothing tags etc, something she was unable to do a few months ago. Her "teacher" says she one of the best in the class, I am not sure if that's behavior or smarts but I'll take either one.

We never knew how much our love could grow and every day it does! We love you so much Cadence for everything you are and everything you have taught us!

Yesterday we had a small birthday celebration and the theme was Pink Zebra. It's getting harder for me to figure out themes that don't involve cartoons (besides Oliva, somehow that was ok) but I am managing. We had a great time with the Fox Family and the McManus Family!

Berkley was able to blow out her candle on her own before it was even time :) She loved her cupcake that turned her face black! As for gifts Berkley received clothes, money, dress up stuff, animals (the stuffed kind) and some games! The men had a great time too playing the Wii.
